Who are the Jonesville Jukers?
The Jonesville Jukers consists of:
Craig Lewis - Guitar, Vocals, Harmonica
Craig was
raised in the Washington D.C. area, and even in grade
school was drawn to art and music. He took accordion
lessons at the age of ten, but by twelve was smitten by
the guitar. He took guitar lessons for a couple years
before he was coaxed by two of his school pals to join
their band, "The Gallows", sharing guitar and
vocal responsibilities. They started playing at local
school dances, and later moved up to the D.C. clubs,
embassies, and hotels as "The Hunted 4" and
later "Hazy Daye". In his junior year of high
school Craig moved with his family to Burlington, VT. Where
he quickly found "The Young Rebels" and played
the local schools, clubs and auditoriums. By the start of
his senior year he again moved with his family to Clifton
Park, NY where, you guessed it, immediately found kindred
spirits and band-mates. Here he played with "The Alum
Rock Jukers", "The Fargo Brothers",
"Shameless", "Sundown" and
countless others, before finally hooking up with John,
and Matt to form the "Jonesville Jukers". On a
personal note, Craig is the proud father of three grown
children, all artists and musicians, and beaming
grandfather of three boys. And yes! There is a youth drum
kit in "grandpa´s" living room.

He received a Bachelor of Music from Aaron Copland School
